Rent the Runway just signed a big lease in Dumbo

Dumbo is booming, and the Real Deal is reporting that subscription-based clothing service Rent the Runway is moving their offices to the hip neighborhood. Once the province of undistinguished warehouses and industrial buildings, Dumbo is now home to properties like 98 Front, the
forthcoming collection of luxury Brooklyn condos from Hope Street Capital. When complete next year, it will stand 10 stories tall and feature 165 residences ranging in size from studios to four bedrooms. The building’s design, by ODA, takes the form of a concrete Tetris-like group of asymmetrical blocks that reference the surrounding architecture while bringing a modern twist to the historic neighborhood.
